The second full length, Incessant Affliction, is a relentless 30 minute barrage built to punish & suffocate. Released through Comatose Music, the duo push deep into the ugliest corners of brutal death metal while separating themselves from artists chasing that same extremity.

From the violence of “Suffering, Misery And Slaughtering”, the album kicks off with unforgiving pace. Blast beats arrive with machine gun precision, riffs twist between technicality & groove, while Bima’s cavernous vocals sound like violent convulsions dragged from somewhere deep beneath the earth.
Multi instrumentalist Hendika Dwi Prasetyo deserves a special mention here. His guitar work constantly moves between sharp, rhythmic attacks & dissonant passages that keep the listener off balance. At its most chaotic, every section feels intentional. Tracks “Engraved Loathing” & “Chaotic In The Weakened Reason” demonstrate that balance perfectly, delivering complete technical precision.
Lead single “Tortured With Endless Despair” captures everything that makes the record effective. Violent tempo changes, ballsy bass lines & relentless percussion meld into one of our favourite moments on the album. Elsewhere, “Incubated Inquietude” hits fiercely, while “Unclear Misery” closes the record with one final crushing statement.
Mixed & mastered at Endless Gruesome Studio, the production remains dense. No muddiness - just every instrument landing with maximum impact.
Incessant Affliction exists purely to devastate, and in doing so establishes Vertiginous as one of Southeast Asia’s most uncompromising forces in modern brutal death metal.
