Available now (independent release) - Live At Dingwalls documents The Medea Project at the point where their ideas stop circling and finally crash right into our ear holes. Recorded in London on June 20 2025, and released independently in January, it captures the band in command of their dark gothic doom language.

The performance draws heavily from Kharon, and the newer material sounds more assured here than on record. “Dance Of The Void” opens the set with a sense of motion that feels inevitable. “Upon Your Bones (Stygian Surf)” stretches outward, slowly churning & allowing tension to accumulate naturally. Nothing is rushed, and definitely nothing overstated. The weight comes from heavy repetition.
Older tracks deepen instead of simply resurfacing. “Babylon” and “F.E.A.R.” feel harsh and more stripped, their structures clarified by the live environment. “The Desert Song / The Cave Song” becomes the set’s centre of gravity, expanding into a long, oppressive arc that rewards patience and attention. The room is audible throughout, amplifier hum, decaying notes, space between strikes. These elements are left untouched, and the record is 100% stronger for it.
Brett Minnie’s vocals shift between roar and exhausted invocation, grounded completely. Pauline Silver’s drumming focuses on pulse and repetition, giving the songs their ritualistic momentum. Together, they sound unified and strong.
Live At Dingwalls ties together well because it doesn’t attempt to reframe The Medea Project. It presents them as they are - severe, unembellished, and fully resolved.
