BRAHMASHIRAS – TRINITITE

Out February 20 via Caligari Records - Brahmashiras’ Trinitite is a decisive debut album that confirms the structural promise of their 2023 EP. Where the self-titled release thrived on force and cult obscurity, Trinitite applies the pressure with fierce intent. The band expands its language without diluting, delivering a tightly wound 26 minute record that feels engineered to bruise the eardrums with every listen.

The sound is rooted in death metal heft, but it is constantly destabilized by hardcore punk propulsion and the urgency of grindcore. Riffs arrive serrated, impatient, and often locking into violent repetition before mutating into something more blackened and corrosive. The trio’s playing is notably disciplined. Drums drive the record forward with aggression, bass asserts physical presence rather than reinforcement, and the guitar work balances utter chaos with control. Nothing drifting. Nothing overstaying its welcome.

‍

Production is a major leap. Trinitite is thick, forceful, and in full attack mode. Every element pushes hard into the red, yet remains intelligible. Vocals are delivered as an act of confrontation, being raw, venomous, and direct, serving the material instead of posturing over it. The record’s momentum is relentless, but not monotonous, with slower, ominous sections creating tension instead of relief.

Lyrically and atmospherically, Trinitite leans into ritual and authority, invoking knowledge, duty, and transformation without slipping into the realms of self-parody like many others in the genre.

‍

Brahmashiras do not refine themselves for acceptance. They refine themselves to strike hard. Trinitite stands as a full statement of hostility, controlled chaos, and underground-ness that grows on you with every listen.
