Omen of the End features eight tracks tackling genocide (“Human Rat”), war (“Mother War”), and the darkest, most depraved depths of the human psyche (“Solution Execution”).
"This is an album that grew and evolved over several years. Because of that, it draws on influences from across the metal and punk spectrum, but they're all filtered through the Scholar of Sin sound," says vocalist Tai Neilson. "The lyrics go to some dark times and places calling out dictators, war crimes, religious zealots, climate disaster, and police violence. But there's also a punk attitude in the gang vocals and riffs that gets you on your feet and won't let you dwell in darkness."
The first single “Bastard in Blue” is available now on all major music platforms.
Scholar of Sin’s debut album Omen of the End will be available on all major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, and Lume.

Omen of the End cover art was created by Andrei Bouzikov (Toxic Holocaust, Municipal Waste). The album was mixed and mastered by Will Hirst (Mindforce, Head in a Jar), with drums recorded by Cameron Wallace at Def Wolf Studios. The album is self-released.
Omen of the End is released worldwide on August 7.
