“Mygla” drew inspiration from the darkest moments of band members’ life. Throughout the composition of the album, all sorts of things happened, both good and bad, which is why it turned out to have such a varied mood. VARANG NORD stated to be very proud of the work and they consider it their best album to date. VARANG NORD is a band from the shadowy forests of Latgale, Latvia. Since 2014, they have been forging a fierce and unmistakable sound by merging crushing riffs, growling vocals, and epic accordion melodies.

On stage, VARANG NORD transforms each performance into a primal ritual: clad in armour and furs, surrounded by carved wooden idols and fire, they summon tribal energy that unites the crowd in raw, untamed power. With their intense live shows and unique blend of folk and extreme metal, VARANG NORD has become one of the most distinctive voices in the northern pagan metal scene.
