DARKLORE UNLEASH NEW SINGLE “DESCENDANTS OF THE PALE MOON”

Serving as a powerful sequel to fan-favourite track “The Raven’s Return,” the new single expands Darklore’s sweeping fantasy universe with a darker, vengeance-driven tale. “Descendants of the Pale Moon” follows a cadre of fallen knights resurrected by a mysterious Elven priestess, bound by blood oath and burning purpose. Reborn beneath the pale moonlight, they march once more to confront the treacherous king who betrayed them, determined to cleanse the realm of his corruption.

Musically, the track blends soaring symphonics, aggressive guitar passages, and a colossal chorus that captures the knights’ march toward destiny. It’s a stirring preview of the scale and ambition behind The Great Elven War, promising the most immersive chapter of Darklore’s mythos yet.

Darklore have also confirmed a special album launch show on February 28 at Blute’s Bar, where they will perform new songs from The Great Elven War, alongside fan favourites. Decked-out in black leather and face paint, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Darklore had just walked off the set of a fantasy film. Their theatrical set and songs of dark fantasy and epic battles takes you on an adventure through many a mystical and magical place. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, this unique metal outfit brings forth blackened hymns from realms both familiar and surprising. Their offerings deliver unique tales, from sword-clashing encounters to demon slaying battles, presented with an energetic delivery and theatrical stage presence that will leave you entranced. The dark fantasy lyrical content of Darklore’s work recalls stories from popular universes such as The Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, and also draws on their unique realms of darkness. And they play on their success in rallying melodic and symphonic overtones, paired with elements of black and death metal.
